Our Mission

Enhancement of traditions, promoting territorial denominations, intended as a point of strength and historical identification; Raising the quality level of the products, raising the typicality, but at the same time trying to accommodate the new trends in taste; Consolidate corporate brand identification policies and planning of multiple branded product lines, distinguishing them by sales channel and / or reference market. The particular and constant attention to health food aspects, respect for tradition, but the recognition that the public passionate about wines is constantly evolving, has made it possible to take a very important step in the year of the ten-year foundation: to limit sales of grapes and bulk wine to boost the sales of own-brand bottled wines, creating two product lines, intended for two distinct types of horeca market.

The Line

Monte Cillario

The high range of production now fully identifies the refinement and exclusivity of great wines, which, thanks to experience, follow seasonal trends as an exaltation of a supreme value of quality: what our land, the climate and our vines offer us every year. Each vintage is a story in itself, and the greatness of these wines lies in this philosophy!

The care of the product, in all phases of its life, from the plant to the bottle, with maximum attention to the choice of the different essences and sizes of the woods, are further emphasized by the refinement of the packaging, French Burgundy bottle and certified caps, to protect the consumer. even in the final purchase phase.

Excelsus

The Excelsus line was born from an incredible collaboration between Wine Affairs Inc in New York and the Cantina Monte Cillario in order to offer the true territory of Valpolicella to the American public.

The Excelsus line consists of 3 products: Valpolicella doc, Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso doc and Amarone della Valpolicella docg.

The wines contain history and family tradition revisited in a modern key: giving aromas, intense and brilliant colors, softness and roundness, combined with freshness and versatility of consumption.

Excelsus is the beginning of a great partnership.

The wines are distributed by Wine Affairs Inc exclusively throughout the United States

Our cellar

Our barrel cellar is made up of different types of wood: not only for capacity, in which we prefer 5hl tonneaux and large 25hl, 33hl and 60hl barrels, but also in the choice of wood itself, both for seasoning and origin. The large formats, especially the old-fashioned ones (25hl), are usually chosen in lightly toasted French oak (suitable for wines from the Easy line). The tonneaux, in solid French oak have a medium toast, while those of Slavonian oak have a more intense toasting (suitable for wines from the Monte Cillario line)
